What do i do now??.
So yesterday i was soooo excited to finally have my ultrasound done i tried to get my bladder full before the appointment just as the doctor recomended. As soon as technician started i got even more excited because finally i was going to know if we're expecting a boy or girl i know they r not allowed to discuss the ultrasound but i asked him if everything was ok he said so far everything is looking food and i asked him for some pictures lol he only gave me two one i know is the side of face the other one i dont know what it is because he printed out a random picture... He then started to see if it was boy or girl but he said he didnt see nothing sticking out so it probably meant im expecting a girl but he said he wouldn't trust it because the baby wasn't letting him see much i was like WHAAAT lol ... I was soo hurt guess im not going to know until my little peanut is born.. Has this occurred to anyone else how did you prepare?
This happened to me as well , my partner wanted to throw a gender reveal party and wanted to make sure so when he asked she told him she thinks it's a girl but my mommy instincts were good lol I knew I was having a beautiful baby girl. He still threw the party not being sure what gender my little one was (he wanted to take the risk lol) even tho I had a feeling it was a girl I was still surprised when I popped the balloon and all those pink sparkles started flying every where, oh was I ready to buy stuff for her but I held on and waited til I got my 3d scan and it was correct I'm having a baby girl !! So best choice is have a 3d scan and let me tell you it's emotional seeing that beautiful face that's inside you :)
This happened to me! The tech told me she "didn't see boy parts, but she didn't see girl parts, either," and not to run out and buy pink. I had to wait until 37 weeks to find out she was a girl! A gender neutral baby shower is so boring and I couldn't find much in the wa of clothes either. It was awful lol
I am also having a surprise gender baby. I am almost 36 weeks. Everyone went crazy at first. Now they are excited and can't wait for baby to get here. I have made a sign for the hospital door. It says He or She come in and see! I am making baby a onsie that says " Surprise I'm a" I will but boy or girl on it at the hospital. Have fun with it. I agree with Erica, it's motivation to push! I also like listening to people guess and explain their reasoning. I have heard boy several times. I can't wait to find out.
I had complications during my first pregnancy so i got ultrasound three times a week.but before that i had to pay $150 for the 3d ultrasound and my baby wouldnt even show her face.lol they gave me half my money back and i got one picture with her arm over her face.
You sometimes can ask your doctor if you can have another one and if he can right it off so your insurance thinks it's a medical reason. Just tell him the tech wasn't sure. Most doctors will do it for you. I get the 3D ultrasound every time I go in for one. For this pregnancy I have been going in every 2 weeks for one and I get a couple of 3D pictures.
Well you were having a full anatomy scan so that may be why. The 3ds are usually a private place with different packages. Its basically a baby photo shoot so wont cost that much. But yeah if you decide on a surprise then it will be wonderful and definitely be an extra reason to give the extra effort to push
I think my lo wants to surprise us so i guess thats how its gonna be :) for my regular ultrasound we had to pay over 300 and i forgot to ask if they do 3d there..
3d scans are anywhere from 50-150$ depending where you live and you can find out. This hasn't happened to me but both my boys were willing to show the world. My pregnancy now im not finding out the sex and im so excied for that. What a great surprise and you dont have tondeal with people twlling you about gender stuff and you dont get gender disappointment oh and ive noticed it seems to bother a lot of people that i say im not finding out which is kind of funny like it bothers them to lose control of that situation so thats fun for me.
