What is it?

I know this might sound nasty but I been noticing something weird on the center of my nipples. I'm 31 weeks and my nipples are crusty. And if I rub little peace fall off! Has anyone else experienced this? If so why does it happen?

It's colostrum (pre milk) it's normal some times it's clear liquid or a milky liquid and when it dries it leaves a crusty like substance behind keep them moisturized and it shouldn't crust up to much. Mine does this also. Good luck momma

Mine does the same thing. I be wondering the same cause it be crusty an I can peel layers off. So I just put coco butter on them. Lol

I know what u mean. I'm almost 30 weeks and it's like a milky white substance... mine are the same. I bight cocoa butter lotion and rub that on them. It's getting bwtter

Thanks girls! Idk what it is tho. If It's Milk Does It Make Your Nipples Like Glittery?  They seem a little glittery after the crust is off. And I always keep them moisture with lotion.

You are probably leaking a little. Or your nipplds are just dry. Keep them moisturized.

Maybe It's milk … try putting them in warm water and see if they leak
