25 weeks Pregnant and have pink urine

I am 25 weeks pregnant. Last week I went to the OBGYN because I had a little cramping and when I went pee it was light pink. I took a urine test the day of my appointment. It has been a week and the symptoms have come back so I called my doctor and he said that the urine test came back negative so no problems there. He said he is going to call me in a prescription. Has anybody else had this problem? What could it be? The baby has been kicking an awful lot lately (which is an amazing feeling), my husband said maybe the baby is kicking something to cause my pee to be pink? Not sure what is the matter, but I just want a piece of mind to know that this has happened to someone else and they go threw a healthy pregnancy.

Sounds like a UTI! Keep us posted on what you find out! I am sure the baby is fine! Do kick counts and make sure the baby is moving ok!

Yes, the two main causes of blood in the urine that seem logical are bladder irritation (definitely could be from baby kicking) or a UTI.  Its possible you were in the early stages of developing a UTI when you were tested so it came back negative which is likely the reason your doctor is calling in a script for antibiotics.  See if that helps after a few days, and if not check back in with your OBGYN to see if they think the situation warrants any further tests.
