What size clothes?

Hello everyone! I am due on March 17th and last week my baby already weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and I'm wondering if he is going to fit his newborn size going home outfit. What Do you think?

I'm only buying 0-3 stuff because my baby is already over his average size at 17 weeks he was 7 ounces. He should only be in the 3-4 range! I have hand me downs from my first born in newborn stuff so if I'm wrong about his size

My almost nine pound baby was in newborn clothes for nearly a month, but we were a bit worried when she was born lol so we grabbed a bigger set of clothes too. At that age I've noticed sizing is more about height than weight.

I wouldn't buy newborn,  or not too much of newborn because they will quickly grow out of it. @ 8lbs I would buy size (0-3 months).

Ultrasound weights are a guess. They can be off by a couple pounds. You just have to wait and see!
Im bringing a 0-3 month outfit just to be safe.

Well I do know doctors arent always right with the baby weight they can.be off by a pound or 2 but yes he will be able to fit new born clothes at 8 pounds
