What's back labour feel like?

I have a question for women who have had back labour. I just got out of my doctors appointment and I'm apparently contracting, but I can't feel them. What I do feel is a horrid pain in my lower back on either side, and often at the same time I feel it in my lower stomach too. The pain gets to the point where it's hard to remember to breathe (DF keeps having to remind me to breathe through it) and my brain only focuses on the pain. DF just timed one I had just now and it lasted about 30 seconds. I'm not sure how far apart they are. (he's keeping count because I can't focus) Could this be the start of labour, or is my body just being cruel to me?

Thank you everyone! They're keeping me till tomorrow (by my choice as well) so I can make sure I'm feeding her properly. Someone is going to send me a boppy so I can feed her with that. We're just using pillows folded in half for now. I'll try and post pictures tomorrow or take some on my phone an upload them that way. Labour dust to everyone still pregnant!!!!! I can't wait to see everyones updates soon.

Congratulations!!! :)

If you don't have one already, I recommend a nursing pillow for nursing - you can cuddle her without having to figure out how to hold her (if that makes an sense), she can rest on the pillow :)
