When/If you could not wear your wedding rings anymore

When I'm just kicking around the house i haven't been wearing my rings. But the last 2 times i put them on they were very tight (left marks). I'm 25 weeks and have only gained 7lbs, so I don't think its that. I can't wear just my band either because it is custom to my diamond and looks stupid by itself

When were you not able to wear your rings anymore?

I took mine off at 18 weeks.  They were a 1/2 size too small to begin with (I couldn't remove them without soaking my hands in an ice bath, and then using lotion to remove them), so at 18 weeks those puppies came off!  Sooooo glad I did because my fingers have gained weight as well as other parts of my body!  hahaha...

I'm due today but still have my wedding band/engagement ring on and can slide them off with the help of soap to clean them!  So I'm assuming I'll be able to wear them until the baby comes..which had better be any time now!  LOL

I am still okay with my rings. now 27weeks and a few days.  I was wondering about the swelling too.  I guess it does not have to happen to everyone? since they say every pregnancy is different from woman to woman.  I hope I don't have to get my wedding sets sized.  we dont want extra expenses these days.  and if I get swollen I hope I get back to normal after birth.

No issues with my wedding ring yet and I'm 21 weeks. In fact I was wondering when the swelling was going to start.

I haven't been able to wear mine since some time around 20 or 22 weeks. I really miss them, but at this point they are too loose for my pinky finger and won't go past my knuckle on my ring finger...

Yea...I havent been able to wear mine for quite some time, so of course I voted for the first option. I am getting photos done for my husband for xmas this weekend..and really wanted to have my rings to wear for them...and my jeweler takes 2 weeks to get them back to you (but its free with my warranty), so I tried to find a place that would do them in a quick turn around time. The one place wanted $95. So, I personally took wire cutters and cut a slit in the back of my ring...and bent them out a bit (my eng ring and wedding band are soldered together). Once pictures are done, I wil bring my ring into the jeweler and tell them that my fingers got so swollen I couldnt take it off and my husband had to cut it off...and pray they will still fix it for free!
