When is the best time to take pregnancy test for irregular periods?

My girl and I had an intercourse on May 16, after 19days (more than 2 weeks)  she used a pregnancy test and used it in the morning, It turned out negative. After 5 days, she tested it again in the morning and negative again.

Most of the people say you can test it after 3 weeks of intercourse for irregular periods. Is it reliable?

I did not ejaculate inside her, but still worried of pre-ejaculation and ovulation though she's irregular.

thanks for the reply. I tested her  after 37 days of her previous menstruation and appeared negative. But she says her longest cycle could reach up to 3 months..

I just became paranoid because of precum i know most of men produce it during intercourse. I believe it also same with me. BTW thanks for clearing my mind guys..

if her cycles are irregular she is supposed to wait until the longest cycle ( for example if her longest is 40 days , then she needs to wait til hits the 40 day mark before testing )  odds are if you didn't ejaculate inside of her then she isn't pregnant

Well i would say you are safe most of the time you need semen to get pregnant and you would need to know her cycle and ovulation. normal people on 28 day cycle would be fertile around 14 days after period starts but you didnt ejaculate in her so you should be fine wait for period to be late then test
