Possible pregnancy.

Can you get pregnant by using the same soap as a guy? To begin with I am a virgin and I waited 30-60 minutes to take a shower after the guy. I'm just really paranoid because what if I used the soap to wash down there and I didn't rinse well enough, is there a possibility of me getting pregnant? Cause' last month I got my period late, instead of coming on the 13th it came on the 23rd. So, tomorrow is the 23rd of this new month so when exactly is it going to come this month?

Geez ladies! I'm going to have to agree with annalovee, some of you are super rude and judge mental. I'm pretty sure you all had questions like that before you started having sex at whatever age you did. Sex education in America, or any country for that matter, is extremely misguided and confusing. And parents still struggle with openness about sex! So evergrearest, I'd like to comfort you in the fact that you are not pregnant! I don't know how old you are, but if you are young, your periods will be irregular for awhile due to hormones and weight changes. Sperm will not survive on soap, however, the fact that it dies immediately when it hits oxygen is also very false! If that was true, men wouldn't be able to donate their sperm, nor would women be able to conceive through other means outside of sex. And whoever told you that a forum is not the place for you is wrong. Forums are great places to get advice and information. Although it isn't always the most accurate, it can be helpful to hear from people who have already been through what you have.

You sound like you're young and need a mother figure to talk to about sex Ed. I would suggest doing so rather than posting on a forum!

Agree with all of the above but also noting that there wouldn't even be sperm on the soap unless he ejaculated on it....just sayin

No there is no way you could be pregnant because you washed "down there" with soap. We can't tell you when your period will come but many things like stress can cause delays. Maybe try talking to mom, or aunts, or even a dr to get a little better sex education information :)

Sperm cannot live on soap. that's ridiculous.

Sperm dies as soon as it hits oxygen. Seems like u may need more schooling. Because sperm cannot travel.

I did take Sex Ed, but if your vagina comes in contact with sperm you could get pregnant. Could it happen if there was sperm or whatever on soap or no?

Plus last month was 3 days shorter so your period may seem 3 days late

Just curious, but didn't you have a sex Ed class in school? I agree, you are safe on the pregnancy thing. Lots of things can cause your period to be late.

No hunn. I promise you, you cannot get pregnant by sharing soap, hot tub, toilet seat, or any of that non sense. The only way to get pregnant is to have sex.
