What kind of insurance do you have?
I don't have any, but soon to have medicaid
Medicaid will only be covered in the state you are in
If you get medicaid you will most likely need to get it in Colorado because it does not cross over to other states usually. I had it with my first son and couldn't even go to a different county. I had it in Los Angeles County and couldn't go to a hospital or doctor in Orange County.
Really??!?! Wow. So could I sign up for medicaid in Colo though I live in neb?
Why do you want your baby born in Colorado? Will you be traveling back to Nebraska after baby is born? Yes I would say to have your appointments in Nebraska for now but you need to find a doctor in Colorado that you will see for your last few appointments because after 36weeks you need to be seen weekly. Also you will want both doctors to know your plan so that they can share medical information about you easily and you can sign consent forms right away. Some doctors make a big deal about you switching doctors after 26weeksso start your search really early for both doctors and make a game plan
No probably not. You usually have to have proof of residency in the state you are going to apply in.
I guess I just want my baby to be born where my child's father was born at. And yes I will be coming back to nebr after baby is born. I just wanna her my baby the Colo. But is mean pregnant women travel all the time. You never know when your baby wants to come out lol
I would go to the wel fare office and talk to the because I don't think it is possible for you to get medicaid for one state while living in another state.
Yeah I guess not, and welfare office? What's that got to do with a pregnancy?
That is where you apply for medicaid, at least here in Ca that is one place to apply.
Ohhhhh... ok got ya. I don't think that's the case here in Nebraska lol
I have medicaid and it does cross states
Omg! Awesome! Thank you. That's great news for me
But I live right on the state line so idk if it only does it for cases like that or anyone.
Where I'm from Medicaid does cross state lines but only for hospitals not dr. My daughter had it and she got an ear infection when we were out of state so Medicaid paid the hospital bill.
