So my fiancé went a bought me a pregnancy test this afternoon, we were both hoping I was pregnant but I took it and its negative :( kinda disappointed but just praying for the best. I'm 5 days late on my period. Who knew trying to get pregnant was so hard.

When my partner and I "tried" I new when I was ovulating but just to be sure I done it 24hours before ovulation and a day after ovulation plus the days in between also after he ejaculated I had my legs up in the air doing a bycicle movment haha. I tested 4 times before I got a posotive and I had an extremly faint line. Just had to look hard but it was there. I wish you the very best of luck. Keep trying and do another test as your 5 days  late so get a sensitive test. Hope you get the results you desire :)

I took one to and it said I was not pregnant but I really was so don't be to disappointed just yet

I was headed to the IVF clinic to begin the process the next day when I found out I was pregnant!  So, that is true.  Just when you think it's not going to happen--  it often does!  That was an appointment I was VERY happy to cancel!  good luck to you sweetie

You could stil be pregnant, the trst just isnt picking up on the hormone. But when my fiance and i were "trying" we could at all but when we finally gave up and didnt think about it anymore we finally got oir little baby boy thats due January 20th!(: i hope it all works out for you guys!(: just take a test again in the morning with your morning pee. And just check again in a few days if you are still late(

I tell you, until my husband and I 'tried' to get pregnant---  I never realized what a miracle it really is.  So many have it just happen and I wasn't that person the first time around.  The sun and moon had to line up it seemed like.  

If you possibly ovulated later than your normal, you could still be pregnant.  I also used the Early Response brand pregnancy tests and you can get a positive as early as 4 days before your period is due.  (I did.  And I didn't take it with first morning's urine either).  

There are other reasons why a woman can be late besides pregnancy  Stress, changes in routine and schedule, illness, etc

Well,  if you're five days late it's still very possible you're pregnant.  

Use first morning urine - it's much more concentrated.

Do you "feel" pregnant?
