I live in AZ too, did you have your interview and everything already, I applied for my insurance during gov shut dwn and it was approved within the week and i got my card like 3 days later... it shouldnt take that long, thats weird..
I applied for medicaid as soon as i found out too and it took about 2 months to get a confirmation with the card... In the meantime, the local pregnancy center told me i could make payments each appointment then i got reimbursed completely once i got on medicaid
I applied for Medicaid as soon as I found out at 6 weeks I got the confirmation letter about a week later but it took months to get the actual card myy ob/gyn let mee just bring in the paper saying I was approved and accepted mee. Turned out they didnt have myy apartment number Thaat's why I never got the card. Just call them and ask them whaat's taking so long. It could be something so simple.
I amino the same boat I applied for insurance at 5 weeks and now 8 weeks but in the meantime we got some extra income so we don't thing we are eligible anymore which *****.
Keep calling about the insurance. Sometimes they take their time but if you keep calling it may help.
I am in Arizona. I went to check for a OB and they said they could see me but the copay would be ridiculous. I am still under my dads insurance but it doesnt cover my prenatal care ao I had to apply for ACCHS. I think it's taking even longer cause of the government shut down but I'm hoping it speeds up now.
what state are you in ? ... I have no insurance and my OB stills sees me with no co payments or anything ... n if you'll be getting badger care or something Like it they back pay all those bills for you
Thank you! Thats a big relief!
You will be fine as long as you eat healthy take vitamins and drink plenty water. I was about 16 weeks when I went to my first appointment and my baby was growing healthy.
Just make sure you eat right and take your prenatal vitamins in the mean time.
