20 week scan and no stomach visable

Hi all. I had my 20 week scan yesterday and they couldn't see my babys stomach? They were looking for fluid in his stomach to make sure he was taking in fluid through his mouth. They have said not to worry and im due to go back for another scan in 4 weeks. He may have emptied his stomach before the scan. I am really worried everything else was perfect. Has anyone experienced this before?  Thank you

I think it's a normal problem to see our not see abnormal things with ultrasound I wouldn't worry too much momma:)

They couldn't see my daughter's heart at her twenty week scan. They could heat the heartbeat she just wouldn't cooperate so they could get a picture. My tech was very kind the way she told us though so I never thought to worry until I told my midwife and she tells me not to worry or jump to conclusions. But my daughter is a perfectly healthy one year old with no heart issues.

Girl you too???! Dammit thought I was the only one, I'm 23W and I can't tell at all. Maybe because I've never been skinny or had a flat stomach not fat either. I'm kinda jealous nor do I have the black line or pop out navel

At my 20 week scan, they couldn't see his stomach at all. They wanted me to go get a 4d ultrasound at 28 weeks. The soonest they had available was march 11. I was so worried my dr had me go in for a regular ultrasound today and everything was fine :) they said he is actually doing things babies don't usually start doing until later. They said he is perfect :D I still go for the 4d on mar 11 but try not to worry. They couldn't see our baby's stomach at all or his organs. They saw everything today though:D

Thank you. Did they see your babys stomach at all? Or just couldn't get a good picture of it? My baby was moving around a lot too but they managed to get really clear pics of all other organs etc which were all perfect.

I have to go back in four weeks as well. They couldn't get good pictures of the stomach and spine because baby was so active and the way he was positioned wasn't good. I'm not worried at all. The upside is you get another sonogram :) I'm sure all will be just fine.
