Lol, well my plug came out while I was having contractions at home so we went to the hospital and once they admitted me and I gave consent for an epidural and had to pee again. I sat on the toilet and hard a "pop" like a big water balloon broke and a gush of fluid came out. It was great timing cause the epidural got knocked a few seconds later and the nurse and my now husband got me of the toilet and onto the bed for the remainder of my labor and delivery.
Don't think about it, I worried about my water breaking at work for weeks before and it ended up happening perfectly.
Ihad my 1st 3 days b4 her due date & my 2nd @36wks & 6 days.
My water broke w.my 1st two kids @the hospital right after igot the edpurial. Ijust felt like a big pop lol.
It was a gush for me. And i was over due by 4 days and at the hospital already.
My water broke at 37+4 and it was a huge gush. I also felt and heard a small pop sound too. After the big gush, small amounts kept leaking for the next few hours. I lost my mucous plug 11 hours before my water broke so I had a feeling something was about to happen soon
My water broke with my first 2 kids. I wouldnt say its incommon at all. It happens to a lot of women. It was a gush with my first and a trickle with my 2nd. Dont be scared, it doesnt really hurt, its just suprising and sometimes inconvenient if ur out in public lol.
It's not super uncommon for people's water to break lol, honestly they had to break my at the hospital, but I know plenty of people who it broke on their own and there are lots of labour stories on here where they include where their water broke
I was at the hospital for back pain and pelvic pressure they said go walk and see if i dilate any more so I went to the bathroom when I stood up a litte bit ran down my leg started walking and same thing so I sat down and it gushed
It is super uncommon for water to break
Wait did that happen recently
& that was when I was exactly 38 weeks
I had been crampy all day then all of the sudden I felt and heard a pop deep down in my pelvis almost like a bone cracking so I stood up and a ton of fluid went down my legs and within 10 minutes I was in full blown knee buckling labor. Scary but also a relief.
