belly headphones?

The doc said my baby should start hearing soon, and I want to introduce my baby to some wonderful classical and instrumental music, but all I have at home is a few pairs of earbuds and one pair of studio-esq headphones that cover your ears.

Do any of you moms already, know anything about headphones that are safe for the baby so I don't accidentally deafen my child before their born?

I got a pair of Sol Republics and they're awesome, they slide on and off the head piece so you can move them around, or use just one, or place them however you want to. Plus, they're awesome for yourself, too.

I've heard of the belly buds, and thought about getting a pair, I love all kinds of music from classical to k-pop, so I'd like for my little one to enjoy music too. In the car I turn the music up a little louder to try and let the baby hear.

I've been thinking about asking the baby's father to wipe my iPod clean and let me download some Mozart and Taylor Davis and a few songs from my favorite shows and Disney movies so I can just plug it up and let it go (lol)

My only concern is that the belly buds seem expensive (>~<)

My midwife suggested putting earbuds to my belly, I guess its not that loud through lots of layers of skin, fat and amniotic fluid! :)
