I've tried castor oil... Eggplant... Cumin tea... And walking and nothing has happened.. Hopefully my baby will be here soon and come on his own so I won't have to be induced on Sunday
And caster oil and other ones like that work as you the lady said but its a shock and stress to the baby
Most remedies foods etc that you hear to bring on labor do not work they are to increase your oxytocin levels but the only ones to actually produce oxytocin are sex (only if you orgasm) & massage(pregnancy riki acupuncture) mist claims of naturally bringing on labor by using the remedies have not been proven most of the time the women was going to go into labor anyway there are many articles on these matters but just try not to over do it your baby will come when they are ready good luck :-)
The cumin tea smell is worse than anything. I actually bought chamomile tea and put ground cumin in it.. The it doesn't taste horrible but the smell is disgusting
Sorry for being so late.. The castor oil I took 2 tablespoons of it.. I would NOT suggest that anyone take it.. It did work... I started having contractions about 6 he's later and I ended up being dilated 6 cm the next day.. The whole time my baby's heart rate kept dropping and I wouldn't dilate past a 6 anymore so I ended up having to have a c section.. From experience even though I know your excited to see your babies and get them out of you I would suggest just waiting for then to come so you won't put them in any harm
