Today they checked to see if I was dialating which I wasnt . Im 37 weeks tomorrow, they told me my babys in position though. Do you have to be dialating to go into labor?

You can dilate from nothing to a 10 in hours, or you could be stuck at a 3 for days. You don't have to be previously dilated to start labor, but if you're having contractions and not dilating you're either not in active labor or they'll need to do a C section because you're stuck and not progressing.
