Thermometer, probe covers, and water based lubricant.  If you think baby is sick you'll have to tell your pediatrician rectal temp.  Not fun but necessary.  Google a registry checklist to help you plan your necessities.

These are essential wipes and diaper, bottles,formulas (if you plan to formulas feed or supplement on top of breast milk), breast pump,tons for receiving blankets,and since its winter thicker baby blankets are great,onsies, socks,wash clothes, baby shampoo and body wash,nose aspirator, baby nail clippers, baby towels, baby Tylenol, these are all the nesecities for at least the first 3 month

This is my first pregnancy so ill try to name everything ive been told .. bottels.. wipes.. diapers.. baby covers big and small... bibs .. socks.. onesies..sleepers.. wash cloths a d baby towels.. and of course stuff for clean in like shampoo diaper rash cream .. and a softbrush nail clippers usually comes in a set baby qtips.. thats just off of the top of my head
