am i expecting too much

My babies father of 8 years just separated in Nov...of course we missed thanksgiving...but Christmas and newyears too!?!?i mean in my eyes we are still a family in some way..we are not seriously involved with any one...he still comes around and an 8 year relationship 3of which with children..am i wanting too much or should i tell him how i feel

I agree with the other ladies. Your expecting to much. If it ain't for the kids or about them don't expect a thing unless there's talk of reconciliation.  Good luck hun

As longs he is there for the kids that all u can expect u can't expect him to still deal with u on any other level if y'all aren't together
