amoxicillin

So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad.  He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days.  He said it was safe but I am scared.  I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back.  Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?

Im currently taking it too 500 mg the dr assured me it was safe for the baby :) im 20 weeks and have an infection in my tooth and its helping alot :)

For some reason I get an ear infection with every pregnancy, lol.  I have taken this with all 3 so far and have 3 perfectly healthy kids.  This is #4 and I haven't had one yet but I still have 12 weeks left to change that, lol.

I am 10 weeks.  I have a long history of bad ear infections and they only get worse for me. So I have to take something for it.  I am still waiting to hear back from the drs office.  I know the papers they gave me say its safe but it just worries me that he gave me to high of a dosage or something.

I was on that alot before my pregnancy my doctor told me to stop taking it if i could just get better without them but he said i could take them if i wanted to but i said no this was when i was in my first trimester. im 29+3 weeks now but i havent really been sick this whole pregnancy just alot of different pains
