antibiotics safe??
I'm 10 weeks and I have a UTI. ER doctor prescribed me Macrobid 100mg BID for ten days. Have any one taken this while pregnant? I googled it, and there were a lot of horror stories......just curious to see if others have taken, and there pregnancy remained normal...
very safe ive been on it3-4 times now and hasnt done much for me but i get frequent uti and kidney infections good luck
If you told the dr you're pregnant, then it should be safe. I dont remember what i was perscribed but i only had to take it for 4 days. And anything in the penicillan family is safe for pregnancy.
Your doctor should prescribe you something safe for your pregnancy...not saying that thats not safe because I'm not sure but when I had a UTI I got prescribed amoxcycillon..i think thats how u spell it..the reassured me it was safe for my baby. You can ask your doctor...he/she should know. If your not sure about using it ask for something else? Maybe that will help :/
