Is it harmful to the baby if im taking antibiotics for bronchitis? And I am only about 1 month .

Bactrim which is an antibiotic is  NOT a safe antibiotic to take during pregnancy because it's a Class C and can be harmful.

Make sure the prescribing and treating doctor KNOWS you are only in your first trimester of pregnancy and really early in

im assuming your Dr was aware that your pregnant when he prescribed them? just saying there are different kinds of antibiotics and some are considered safe while preg and others are avoided... i was on some for an infected tooth and i made sure the dentist phoned the pharmacy to agree on what was the best approach then when i got to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription i confirmed again that it was okay to take :) if your ever concerned about a medication i would contact the pharmacy first as they are the experts and have all the warnings and side affects right there if there was ever a doubt... but i know in my town the Drs and nursing staff  phone there for advice all the time :D

I'm 27 weeks and have bronchitis the antibiotics are fine to take. I am expecting our 3rd and I've had to be on antibiotics a lot during my pregnancys and have healthy little girls.

I just had anti biotics for chest infection doc said it was safe x

I just had bronchitis and the ER wouldn't let me take anything other then an inhaler.
