Preterm labor is a serious concern if you are having contractions so early. The dilation isn't really a concern, women can walk around dilated up to 3 cm for weeks or even months without membrane rupture or active labor starting. The fact that you're having contractions has absolutely no effect on your due date - if your uterus and the fetus both measure 30 weeks there is no reason to think that you're any further along than that. Drink lots of water, try to rest, and follow your doctor's instructions. Do everything you can to stay pregnant until your doctor tells you otherwise.
But if u n baby are measuring 29 almost 30 weeks then ur wat the doctor says
Ur body could just be having contractions there's no way for us to know y some ppl have contractions for weeks doesn't necessarily mean u will have her early just whenever ur body is ready it will trigger itself or maybe ur not drinking enough water. The best advice I can say is ask ur doctor Hun
Would anyone know why I am having contractions then?
If you have been measuring the same and ultrasounds have been around the same you are probably where the doctors say.
