My BF Wants to Name Our Son After Him, But I Dont Wnt To lol Any1 else having this problem

Almost 3 years ago we had decided on Dominick because his name is Nicolas and his grandfather is Nicolas and his family has a whole bunch of Nicholas and Nicoles. So Dominick at least had a Nick and we'd nickname him Dom.
At the anatomy scan we found out boy he was so emotional he cried and the tech gave him a weird look. and when we left home he said I hope you know baby will be a Jr. I tried fighting it and just gave in. but I told him next one its all my decision.

I went through that , when I was pregnant and didn't know the.sex so what we done was picked both.girl and boy names I would pick.the name and incorporate his name In which is john Cole so for a boy I picked john Ryan and a girl Angel Nycole,,,we had a girl but he was thirlled with both names

I let my husband have his way with the boy but he has no say if and when we have a girl. Our son John Joseph 3 will go by Joey because on top of my husband and his dad both being named John my dad and grandpa are also Johns just not jr and sr

In so glad my boyfriend doesn't like the idea of naming his child after him! So since we found out at 5 weeks we've had our sons name (not knowing of course it was a boy) and now were happy happy happy!! 40 days to go!!

My baby daddy wanted his first son to be named after him too (he's a jr) and I didn't like that idea at all. Thankfully I'm having a girl. Lol.

My  husband Tony has always wanted to name his son Logan after his friend who died when they were kids. It would have been my daughters name if she was a girl. But I'm having a boy now Logan Anthony with his first name as the middle name which is a good idea, try to convince him to do that

Idk what I'm having yet, but my husband and I had lityle to no argument about a boy name because I picked out the first and he picked out the middle, its perfect! But I'm having an impossible time with girl names with him.....and me!

I'm so glad were having our second little girl cuz if it was a boy (which would've been our 4th boy) he wanted to name him Michael Lee Rios III. I was like no. My oldest son is a JR so I want his son, one day, to be the 3rd. I got lucky and its a girl lol.

That's what we decided on, was for our baby's middle name be my boyfriend's first name. Or If It sounds good, you can use your baby daddy's first and middle name as the baby's middle name and have the first name what you want.

I am having a girl so not in the same boat but would he maybe consider having the babys middle name be after him? Lol

Yup! I had the same problem! My boyfriend Is a Jr and wanted our son the be the third, but I wanted him to have his own name. Eventually, I won with the name I wanted lol. Took awhile, but I got what I wanted lol.
