babies size question

So had my appt yesterday with ob. And had an u/s. Im 29w 4d.  They said that my daughter was 3lb 1oz.   Is that big or above average for 29w4d?

The ultrasound can be off they guessed my son would be 7 -8 pounds he was only 5 lbs 15oz. But I'm at the same stage as you with my second, I haven't had an ultrasound but the weight sounds maybe a little big but I have pretty small babies so probably average :-)

At 32 weeks my babies were all over 4 lbs and I had over 8 lb babies so I'd say your OK and your baby isn't to big.

It's pretty average. Most babies at that stage weigh close to 3 pounds. Some will be smaller, and others will be larger. Remember as well that fetal weight is only a guess and can be off as much as a pound in either direction.

I am 27wks now and go back on the 19th of this month

Idk I been waiting to have another u/s cause at 24w my baby was 1lb 8oz and everything I read at that time told me he should have been a little smaller back then.
