Im so pissed off, were here at l&d and it was going fine until the pain got to an unbearable stage so we ask for an epidural.. we end up waiting close to an hour and a half for them to finally show up and at this point the pain is well passed the unbearable stage. Im just so mad i had to sit there holding her hand hearing her scream and cry like she did, never coming back here
Try not to be so mad there is always a wait for epidural because all the other people that need anesthesia I waited to long with my last pregnancy and had to deliver without one
It's hard to watch someone you love in pain. :(

I got in at 1230am and didn't get my epidural until 330am.. the waiting is normal.. u have to remember, doctors are busy people, you are not their only patient..
That's normal, they don't come right away.
That is normal. You never wait till the pain gets unbearable to ask for a epidural if you plan to get one. If you think you want one you ask as soon as you get there. I have had five and know from experience, bad experience. Congratulations on the baby and good luck.
