im not sure if i have Ectopic Pregnancy because i had my tubes tied back in 2004 ,but today i took a pregnancy test and it said pregnant> would a test say pregnant if the fetus was in one of my tubes?

Yes it is indeed, 2yrs ago I found out I was pregnant and @ 8wks we discovered my pregnancy was Ectopic...and my hpt was positive!!

Yes, you can Certainly have a positive pregnancy test result with an ectopic pregnancy.  It sounds like you already know this - you are at high risk for an ectopic since you are pregnant after having you tubes tied.  It is vital you see your doctor urgently.

Im pretty sure test would still say positive if fetus was in tubes as you'd still produce the hormone,however it's not impossible to get pregnant when you've had your tube tied, it's very unlikely but it could happen. Make an appointment with your Doctor to have tests. Good luck x
