baby no like daddy?

So..my baby has a daddy issue. Everytime my husband puts his hand on my belly to feel our baby,it'll just be--NOTHING. And get this, when suddenly he goes to the bathroom or fall asleep or just away from me like to the kitchen or something,SUDDENLY the baby kicks up a whole storm in there and i mean serious kicks like a "hey im here!" kicks and not just light flicks. Now im at my edge and ive cried feeling frustrated cuz i cant share this kind of moments with him and i dont know what is wrong. So pleaseeeee any of you who experienced this...FREAKING HELP MEEEEEEEEE...

This same thing was happening for my fiance. It wasnt until 30 weeks that he felt our baby girl move for the first time. When we would lay down and just talk I would have him put his hand on the side of my stomach and to make it very light so she wouldnt know he was trying to feel Her move. It worked thats how he felt her the first time and ever since he feels her move around more:)

I am sooo happy for the rescue mommies.. for a minute there i thought im the only one getting this. At least this puts a bit of relief. I actually cried trying to persuade my kid to move. Il just give baby and daddy some time to warm up with each other. Love you ladies soooo much for this

Evylins96 thats it!!! Thats what ive been trying to say. My baby would just be still everytime daddy makes an effort to feel. When daddy is asleep and suddenly there's a whole bruce lee thing goin on in there. I think my baby can read my mind.Sneaky....haha im sooo gonna buy a book and make him read it to him/her. I told him maybe he just rarely talks to it thats why the baby doesnt recognise and shy away whenever daddy's near

Denielle is right. Don't fret about it. Baby will come around when he's ready. Mine still stops moving every time I try to get my mom to feel him. I'm 34 weeks now.

Tell daddy to play some of his favorite music for him that was the only way my little one moved for his daddy:) I had the same exact problem ever time I would be around his dad he would stop kicking and as soon as he wasn't around he's been kicking up a storm lol

Thing is my baby has this censors with Dad that she/he can just sense if dad is around.right now hub is sleeping just a while after he cracked and this little kiddo right here is kicking away when just now it was just as cute and still like a daisy. I gotta say this little one is quite a daddy bully.haha my hub is reallu REALLY a shy guy even tryinh to catch him talking about baby stuff is rare and precious.he'd blush or shy away when i acted surprise about it. So i guess baby's got it from him. Shy thing.

Honey,  its not your husband that's making your baby still, it's your stress.  ;D

Babies do respond and sit quietly when the mom gets stressed,  and they come out to play when everything's good and the mom is relaxed.  That's why they start doing gymnastics if you lay down to get some rest.

I know you really want your husband to feel your baby kick - can you try some deep breathing relaxing time?  When you destress about it,  your baby will dance away.

yeah what ^^^^ she said.
Tell you husband to talk to the baby so the baby can get familiarized with his/her daddys voice.
It takes a while my little girl would do the same thing and she still does sometimes... im think shes going to have a really strong personality like her mother lol

Im 20 wks. Well he finally cracked up today like annoyed. He said "oh lucky youre the only one who can feel the baby and laugh at the kicks and everytime i put my i cant feel anything--no kicks!" I know what he meant and the fact that he cant come to our third appointment because the police force had him attending a course plus its the ultrasound where we're finding out the gender makes it even more sad. He's never left me alone on an appointment so its like he's missing this one out. I really hope my baby would respond to him soon. I know this big daddy wants to say Hi. When did ur husband get to feel ur baby?

How far along are you? It took my husband and I quite a while to catch that special moment. Don't be discouraged and have patience. Your baby doesn't hate daddy. Baby may just be shy. :)
