water birth?

Hello ladies! I am new to the forum and am excited to hear and get some advice from you. I am 4 Weeks pregnant and am interested in having a water birth. Has anyone went through water birth and if so would you recommend it and how do you set it up?

I labored in a tub but didn't give birth in it. Also at a birth center inside a hospital. My labor was so slow that I spent probably 3 hours in it and got out. Used a shower for a couple hours too. I took a Bradley method class to prep for labor too which I found super important while in labor.

I planned on doing a water birth, however, my labor was really quick. I did not have time to get in the water. My birth was at an Alternative Birthing Center located in a local hospital. I would first find out if you have something similar in your area. Then find an OB GYN or midwife that supports this type of birthing practice.
