I see a physio/ wellness/ massage lady, and my god, I had a fall, and after she worked on my back for 30 mins, I was feeling soooo much better. Chiro's are amazing straight after a deep tissue massage too, because you're so relaxed. I'm not sure how creams are in pregnancy... The heat producing ones... I used to swear by them every time I got a backache.
(oh & I got new tennis shoes for walking with more support to help my back... So, make sure you have good shoes for that. Walking is supposed to stretch/elongate the spine)
This is my first pregnancy. I've had TERRIBLE lower back pain (sciatic nerve pain). It literally hurt to sneeze! Lol I'm 16 weeks. I just started prenatal yoga and walking a few times a week. OMG... It has done wonders. I was ready to try a chiropractor & acupuncture if the yoga didn't work, but so far it's working. If you do try a yoga class make sure it is specifically a prenatal class. Also don't wait too long to start bc after 25 weeks is really *not* the time to just barely start a class.
I get really bad bk pain aswell n i refuse 2 take pain relief so I use a heat pad works a treat just tuck it behind u wen ur sittin or lying down n it really soothes!
