backpay issues from medicaid?

Did anyone have problems getting medicaid to repay them for appointments you covered out of pocket while waiting for approval?

The doc office told me when I got my number they would bill medicaid for the appointments ive already had/paid for, then they would reimburse my payments. I think they called it back pay. I was just wondering if anyone else heard of this and if they had any problemz.

Well typically they dont pay u back. They can not just hand over money like that unlessnof course its like cashaid or something. The way it usually works is when u recieve bills as long as they r within 3 months of application date, you should be able to call the billing dept and give them your id on your card. If u already paid for them out of pocket, that might be why your having trouble.

For like the lab places but for full on appointments my dr did it for me

No I just called the billing company and gave my medicaid id
