So embarrassed

Im 15weeks & all of the sudden it hit me. I dont understand ovulation. So me & my husband were separated for 6months. According to my "lmp" I got pregnant april 23rd. I last had sex with a friend in march dont remember date. And slepted with my husband in april. Could there be a chance I might be pregnant by my friend.my lmp was april 9th. But im reading how woman can bleed not necessaryly be having a period during pregnancy. My doctor measured my baby at around 10 weeks & im just hoping he wasnt wrong about how far along I really am.

if your dr did an ultrasound to get the 10 week date then the early ultrasounds are always the most accurate.

As for ovulation goes If you have a normal cycle that is about 28 days then your period would last the first 5-7 days about and then you would ovulate on day 13-15 of your cycle. That is the only time you can get pregnant during a cycle is when you ovulate. If you have sex after you ovulate chances are pretty good that you wont get pregnant. However if you have a longer cycle like 45 days then ovulation would be at a later date. It seems by what you said you normally have a cycle each month so I would assume the baby is your husbands. But if you are concerned still the only way to be 100% certain is a DNA test after the baby is born. But I highly doubt that you will need to.

You O two.weeks after your period...so seeing that your lmp was April 9th I would say It's your husbands. (Just my personal guess....)
