im black and thats more of a black thing that goes back to the african culture and the
is for you not to buy anything until your past 12 weeks but if they strick then its really 5 months and they do that because its for you not to jenks your pregnancy
Mom my told me to wait to cause it was bad luck. We didnt buy the crib till 7 months. Idk if its though
Hispanic mom's man lol. Thank God my mom don't believe in that lol. But you got to love them
i come from a hispanic family there are really supertitious but we usually buy the clothing after the 3rd month i also now they say its bad to set up the crib before the baby arrives cause it brings bad luck....but hey everyone is different
Its advised you don't buy or tell people before 12 weeks because if you miscarry it will likely be before the 12 week mark.. Some peoe say it's bad luck and you ate jinxing it. And its super hard when you loose the baby and have a bunch of baby stuff in the house
Im mexican and my mom didnt buy anything for my baby till I was 8 months pregnant because she believed in this..I didnt tho, I bought a bunch of stuff!
I only heard to wait until your past your first trimester, especially since that's when it's a higher risk of having a miscarriage, but it's different for each person.
Im Hispanic n never heard that but I iv heard of not puting the crib up untill after the baby is born in case somthing happens
I here that also I couldn't buy anything until my baby was born bcz it's bad but I still didn't it
I know a lot of people say it's bad luck to have the pram in the house until the baby is born but it's all rubbish lol
The other day I pointed out a rainbow to my mom (Hispanic also) and she tripped out and told me it's bad for the baby and made me wear a pen on my shirt to "protect" me . I don't believe it but doesn't hurt
People do say to buy stuff after your first trimester. Just in case if ever u lost the baby. I started buying stuff once i knew the sex of my baby
Ohhh. . .that may explain it. My mom recently lost a set of twins
Its not a hispanic thing. Its a woman thing. I've heard it to from different races of woman and they all had one thing in common: previous miscarraiges.
Its not a myth, its a personal choice.
I'm Hispanic too and never heard of that either ! When I found out I was pregnant both times, My mom and I went to buy stuff lol we couldn't wait :)
I'm hispanic and never heard of that =/ I think there all myths. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I bought stuff early.
