Ive watched a couple youtube ones and they seem so rough on their babies lol.
Shell123, thank you! I think I'm going to invest in one of those:)
Also you can you tube a video to watch right before. I went through an infant care class a week before my baby was born and when I went to wash her the first time I came up blank lol. So I watched a YouTube video before hand and felt much more confident.
Its good to have a baby tub that has a net or one those hamock nets that u put water in tub and lay baby in the hamock thing so their somewhat in water and use washcloth to clean them thats what i use for my son who wont need the net or hamock thing or whatever their called for mich longer but he loves it but dont worry the dr or nurses will help u to know what to do
Thanks Ladies ! Much appreciated many have told me to actually have my baby in water but its soo scary especially as a newborn. Thanks ladies much appreciated.
The nurses explain everything! You can stick them in the baby bath and just get a wash cloth and wash them like that just try not to get the belly button wet. And they give you alcohol whipes to clean the belly button out until the black thing falls out.
Yea ill be wiping my baby down w wash clothes and a mini warm bowl of water on my bed at first.. specially since im getting him curcumsized.
They normally tell you not to bath your new born within a week of them being born. But you can get wipes and wipe their hands and faces:) x
The nurses will help u w that at the hospital.. ask to be there when they first bathe the baby and learn from them.
