bathing New Born

I have about 29 Days left until my due date & I'm excited!!:) but I'm absolutely clueless when
It comes to bathing a newborn. I'm a ftm & my mom isn't really around so I can't count on her help. Any suggestions ladies ?! Dos & donts ? Etc.

Ive watched a couple youtube ones and they seem so rough on their babies lol.

Shell123, thank you! I think I'm going to invest in one of those:)

Also you can you tube a video to watch right before. I went through an infant care class a week before my baby was born and when I went to wash her the first time I came up blank lol. So I watched a YouTube video before hand and felt much more confident.

The nurses explain everything! You can stick them in the baby bath and just get a wash cloth and wash them like that just try not to get the belly button wet. And they give you alcohol whipes to clean the belly button out until the black thing falls out.

They normally tell you not to bath your new born within a week of them being born. But you can get wipes and wipe their hands and faces:) x
