How do you feel about families getting temp assistance? I was just downgraded and told I shouldnt have my baby who is due in 34 days because I "cant afford the two I already have". Came from someone on a fb group who doesnt know a thing about my situation. I recently lost my income and cant find a job since ill be having a baby very soon so instead of living out of a car with two kids I chose to apply for some help. Some people are rude and it kills me inside.

Dont listen to any stuck up arrogant people on their high horses. There is nothing wrong with making use of AVAILABLE resources for period of time. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PURPOSELY MOOCHING AND BEING LAZY, AND THEN JUST SIMPLY USING THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO HELP U. Some people never understand because they havent been in a situation wjere it would help, but dont mind them. Nothing wrong with programs like WIC, or cash aid for a short time while u work or day care assistance. Its there to help YOU become more self sufficient and it is no one else business.

I know families who screw with the system so people like that give it a bad name just because theyre lazy. Personally if someone told me that i would just brush it off. Stuff happens that you cant help! Good luck & ef that person. Lol

Yes, agreed.  We never know what another person truly goes through.  We haven't walked in their shoes.  I'm sure it is hard having two kids and one on the way and needing help and thank goodness there are places to go to get it.  right?  Do what you must to survive and hopefully you will get back on your feet soon.  Take care and fill your life with positive people!
