My due date was sept 4th but my little man has been very stubborn, so at my appt today I had an ultrasound, nst, and was checked, dr went from saying I'm being induced tomorrow morning to saying I had to goto the hospital tonight at 8pm... :) I have been freaking out all day today but its 10pm right now, I'm all hooked up to the monitors and waiting on the dr, and I'm able to watch the lions game :) and they are winning, its a good night:) soon our little man will be here :)

Thanks everyone, and I am also a ftm, I decided that if I can't handle the pain I would get an epidural but I do have a high pain tolerance... Im so nervous for the labor part and then the fact my son will be here prolly by today!! This is all happening and there is no stopping it now... All I can do is take deep breaths and remember it's for the most precious gift in the world:) my bf is also very anxious to but he is shocking me in staying level headed and helping me thru this... :) I really do love that twarp right now haha

Update: as of last night when I arrived they checked me and I was a finger tip dilated. They incereted this ribbon looking thing that will cause my cervix to thin out I was 70% effaced and then they gave me ambien to call down and sleep but they will be in soon to remove the ribbon thing and start potocin ... Keep ya posted and again thanks everyone

That's so exciting. I was induced with my first and it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be and I was only in labor for 4 1/2 hours although I got to the hospital at 4 that morning and they didn't start the IV until 9. But I had my daughter at 1:33 that afternoon. Congratulations on your baby :)
