being induced

November 4th I will be induced if he doesn't come next week. Is being induced more painful? I'm a ftm so I really don't know.

I have been induced with my 1st and 3rd child and went into labor with my 2nd and I would rather go through natural labor then being induce. It hurts and the contractions come and come fast. It all hurts but natural isn't as bad as being induce.

My induction story is still a very touchy subject to this day but I'm not the easiest person to stick a needle in.

I got severe pre eclampsia at 32 weeks I stayed in hospital with it for 3 weeks being constantly they decided to induce me just leading onto 36 weeks first they tried the pessary over a 48 hour period after that the hoarmoan drip nothing worked on my 6 day of labour they rushed me in for a section due to me and baby being exhausted my labour went wrong because they rushed me and my baby she was in shock and had to be recusatated? It was all so emotional and still to this day it's a hard subject, but please don't worry at all my mum was induced with me and it went better then perfect for her good luck xx

Do you have to get induced though?? I would really try to avoid especially if you want to go natural. How many weeks are you?

I thought being induced made the contractions hurt worse than natural labor, but I went thru both with no meds. Its not awful.

It's the same amount of pain as going into labor naturally. I have done both. It all depends on your pain tolerance.
