Does anyone happen to know how long this testing might last ? I've heard 2-4 hours?

I was supposed to have a two hour one but threw up all over my nurse right before my first hour was up. Since I'm having twins they decided it'd be best if I just check my blood sugar at home with a meter four times a day.

They have a 1 hour and the 3 hour you have 5 minutes to drink the drink and then from the time you sip the last sip you have to wait an hour

My appointment was at 9 am. I finished the drink at 830am. And they took my blood at at 930am exactly an hour later then I was free to go home!

I get to drink the drink at home before I go and tell them when it's been an hour and they draw my blood.

the first, initial test is 1-hour... if you fail, you have to do the 3-hour test.. or that's how it was for me, in South Carolina.. maybe some places are different? not sure.

I failed the 1-hour, took the 3-hour, and passed.

I have borderline diabetes and have for 3 years now. It's in my family so even though I'm only 11 weeks I had the test done this week. I was there for extra time because the drink had me throw up. If you keep the drink down you should only normally be there for 2 hours and 30 mins. I hope you like super sweet drinks

Depends how many people are there too. When I went to mine I went right in the morning when they were about to open and I was the first one and it took an hour because they make you drink this drink and you wait an hour then they draw blog and you can leave
