birth plans

How do you soon to be mommies plan on giving birth? I want to go natural but I AM NOT good with pain. But I feel as if it'll be a pain I can bare but I'm not sure considering the fact I'm a first time mom. lol I also plan to have about 5 people in the room or maybe even the max (8) but notice I said "plan" becauae I know I get annoyed EASILY!! Of course I plan to have a vaginal birth. And thats about it. Oh yeah, I want to get a wax days before. haha!!! ** DUE APRIL 16

Fyi most hospitals have a policy about how many people you can have in the room while you're laboring, I know around here it's two aside from the baby's father. Might want to look into that before you get to grandiose with that plan.

I want an all natural birth and only use IV meds I don't want an epidural Because people that got it in my family got really bad back issues after but if u can't handle the pain ill maybe cave in and get an epi

Yeah 8 cm I was very close but I couldnt breathe through them anymore and I knew my limit. I asked for IV meds first and they just pissed me off lol. I also agree with ragga92 things will **** you off. I remember it pissed me off because my husband kept trying to talk to me during contractions. I finally told him to shut the heck up and he got offended I think until his mom explained it to him.

I gave birth naturally with my first and will do with this one as well :) don't want any drugs at all. But I wouldn't recommend having to many people in the room with you. You'll need peace and quiet and a relaxed surrounding if you're planning a natural birth. And you will get pissed off for the weirdest reasons. I actually threw my mother in law out because she was wearing a weird shirt and it annoyed me. But she took it off so I let her back in. Lol

Dang. I guess some doctors expect us to have a plan and go with it when we go into labor. I'm 32wks, my doc and I havent really set a plan but we discussed it. | Yeah, a waxing is a must. Hair on vajayjays creeps me out. LOL | Wow. You were almost there. The pain at 8cm must have been unbearable. | And yesss I hate having hair in places I don't want; ew, yucky. lol

Id love to get waxed before i go in to give birth, but i dont think thatll happen, this is when i pray to become more flexible & work with my belly! Haha! I have a hair phobia so no hair is a must. & i plan to give birth naturally with no epidural! First birth, so who knows.. i could snap & want some drugs! Lol

My plan was to go in with a good attitude, open mind, and knowing what my limits were. I wanted to go natural but I was open to pain meds. I ended up getting the epidural at 8 cm.

My doctor never asked me how I want the delivery to go. Some people say their doctor did ask and have them make up a plan to put in their file. I'm 40 weeks tomorrow and no one had asked me what my plan is. I just made one and hope I can stick to it when the time comes (:
