birthing ball to help start labor???

Has anyone used a birthing ball... or big a** yoga ball to help them go into labor? I know once ur in labor they can help things move along but does it help start the process?

I might have to be induced so im gonna try and avoid it if possible.

Yes With My First Kid I Had To Use One Because My Son Was So Far Up And Was Being Stubborn I Was Already Past due and they were gonna induce me but they will try other methods before they feel they juss have to induce u such as the yoga ball it was fun to me
