Do you have health departments in Florida or pregnancy crisis centers. Look around for those because they help women who are low income and have no insurance. I hope this helps.

You can go into any medicaid clinic in your area they will automatically start caring for your pregnancy and will get your medicaid approved for you.

Medicaid for Pregnant Women

There are three ways to apply:1. Presumptively Eligible Pregnant Women (PEPW): A temporary coverage for prenatal care only by local clinics. The same application will be sent to DCF for an ongoing Medicaid determination

There are no insurance medical centers you can go to... it takes 2 weeks to get approved

With the government being shut down at the moment, no one is getting medicaid because there aren't enough workers to process the claims. Workers are laid off. If you applied two months ago, did you bring proof of pregnancy confirmed by a nurse or doctor? If you did and you meet the income guidelines, then you should have been preapproved for medicaid.
