Eye color?

When does baby's eye color change ? My eyes are blue/green/hazel. My husband's are brown and he is half Mexican half white... his white side is from England and UK (related to English royalty) and I am mostly Scottish, Irish, and German. Husband's mom has blonde hair and blue/green eyes and blonde hair blue eyes goes way back down her family tree. It would be so neat for my son to have green eyes like me. My aunt has green eyes. My dad has brown and my mother has olive green eyes .. brown in the center. My eyes turned out to be light ...

I guess it depends on the baby! I just wonder if our baby will have brown eyes and when I will know. I heard lots of babies are born with blue eyes but they can change later on
