breast feeding and working full time?

I plan on breast feeding and I really want to but I'm the main provider out of me and the fiance our plan is to either have him stay at home with the baby (after maternity leave ofcourse) while I work since I make a lot more money or have opposite schedules. But I'm worried that if I'm working 40plus hours a week if breast feeding will work out for me I atleast wanna do it for the 8to 12 wks I'm off but what about when I go back to work? Can any of you moms help? Ima ftm and have never breast fed.

You should talk with yOur boss about pump breaks, shouldn't b a problem. Its legal.  As for leaking, wear nursing pads in your bra to catch leaks.

Thanks so much for the encouragement! I'll have to talk about it to them I'm just embarrassed and we only have one bathroom at work so it may be a little awkward, maybe I can get a doctor's note allowing me a little more break time to get the job done lol

I do it! I have a 3.5 year old and a 6 month old and im currently 9 wks 4 dys with my 3rd. I work full time and exclusively breastfeed. I pump at work 2-3 times a day. They are understanding. I was scared they wouldn't be a first but once i talked to them,  they didn't mind at all. You can do it momma! :)

Check your state and federal laws I forget which one gives you the right as a breastfeeding mom.

Get baby used to drinking formula also so when at work he/she would be used to both!

Invest in a good breast pump. A couple of weeks before you start to go back to work,  start pumping 3 Times a day & save the milk in freezer bags in your freezer.  That Should give u a good start up supply. The more u feed/ pump, the more milk your body produces. When u get home,  don't use bottles make sure you breast feed. You can do it, irs kinda vigorous but def possible.

Work should offer you a SANITARY (not a bathroom) place to pump every so often.
