I tried breastfeeding but my son but he had a lactose sensitivity and I had to switch him to soy, the doctors said he couldn't handle the breast milk. Good luck with your baby, I would have if I could have kind of deal :)

There are mannnnnny perks to bfing I wouldn't say bonding is one really cuz I think as long as u hold and love ur baby they know and only downside I think is u will probably have some pain and soreness but hey at least for me pregnancy isn't a picnic and u dont know exactly how much lo is eating but theres nothing to worry about as long as lo is having dirty diapers PERKS ARE diapers smell waaaaaaaaay better, never recalled, if u have ur boob u dont have to wash warm or prepare bottles ever especially at 3am, changes composition for UR baby even night feedings have different stuff in it, lowers risk of all kinds of diseases for lo, lowers risk of cancers for u, helps u lose weight u burn up to 600 calories not even thinking about it,  FREEEEEE. Theres other benefits but I cant remember em all if u cant dont feel bad plenty of babies do awesome on formula but I bf my 1st for a yr even after going back to my 40+ hr job and even with all the pain and troubles I had ill gladly do it all over again even when I was sore I still enjoyed it (I know that sounds weird but I was doing it all for my child n I loved that closeness I had with him)

I'm not going to I tried to pump for my first daughter and she ended up to have a protein allergies so she needed special formula and I never got enough milk to fill her up! So it was ok for me this time I'm starting off formula and not looking back I don't want to be the only one who can feed her and have to be the one to wake up and my hubby and I had a agreement I would feed her if he got the bottle so we're sticking to that again! I'm not knocking bf I think it's awesome for ladies who can have the patience to do it! I just do not!

Breast feeding gives your baby antibodies/immunity so it's a lot better in the beginning, that way the chance of your baby getting sick from flu etc is low, gives the baby strong immunity so it's completely healthy, saves money, as what I've learned so far lol. still 30 weeks here, 10 weeks to go with my first child :)

I'm breastfeeding and I'm going to pump as well((: I highly recommended on doing it. Research about it and take a breastfeeding class if you want. I'm 32 weeks and a ftm and I refuse to use formula for my baby girl. I hope you decide on breastfeeding you and your baby get a lot of good benefits from it.

it has so much benefits hun.. aside from the great bonding you have with your baby, it reduces the risk of breast cancer as well.. it as also the best way to lose weight specially after giving birth, you'll save so much vs. buying formula and hassle free.. coz u dont have to wash bottles and nipples and sterilize it..i highly recommend breastfeeding..
