It stinks cuz you're the one having to wake up with baby all the time and be readily able to feed 24/7 but no bottles to watch, no mess, healthy, great bonding experience just truly special.
omg i had this exact question that i was going to post lol this helps a lot ladies not im totaly sure about breastfeeding im mean not just cuz of me but for her too!
im breast feeding my 3 week old bby and already lost all my oregnancy weight off... so yeah it does help even thoe the first pains you get after giving birth are do to breastfeeding but its worth it
Yes! I breastfed both of my children, with my son I lost almost 45lbs within 3 weeks, I'm currently still breastfeeding my 3 month old daughter, and lost all 25lbs of my pregnancy weight within 2 weeks of having her. I also read between months 3-6 of breastfeeding is the most weight loss. 750 calories burned a day just breastfeeding. It's also WAY better for baby and a great bonding experience! There's a breastfeeding forum, too, it's great!
Absolutely, although that shouldn't be the top reason you want to nurse lol! 2 things go on when you nurse, 1 it makes your uterus contract back to its normal size quicker, making you appear smaller sooner. 2nd, your body is constantly using energy, aka burning calories, to make milk for your baby, like 500 calories a day! However, you are supposed to consume at least 300 calories more than normal to help balance the caloric requirements.
