broken nose during pregnancy

Stupid question but it is dangerous? Do I really need a doc? I've broken my nose twice before and turned down surgery during one of them. I'll turn down any facial construction again.but I'm finding it hard to breath out of my right nostril. No significant pain...it feels bruised with mild-moderate soreness. Some swelling, one black eye on the left side. Normally, if I weren't pregnant I'd ignore it.

The possibility of my broken nose has nothing to do what my child's nose will look like. I hope you're joking....

How far are you?  When my cousin was 6 months she had here ears pierce, when the bub was born he came out with what looks like nail impressions on his earlobes 5 years later he still has them, im wondering if a broken nose can affect how the babies nose forms, of course it depeneds how far you are, once you have bub  can you let us now?

Thank you. And there is no abuse in the home. I thought about that after I posted.lol! Sorry about that. I have a great husband and he's in Texas now while I'm in Pennsylvania.just a clumsy woman! Lol

Thanks. I guess I'll call my doc and talk to him. My husband is out of state for work so i have no car.

And I'm accident prone. First time I broke my nose I fell off a slide, second time I broke my nose I did a kartwheel with pom poms (I was a cheerleader) and fell and tonight my almost 2 yr old head bunted me. Lol!

Definitely see a doctor for any broken bones, pregnant or not. May I ask how you keep breaking your nose? this is not a frequently broken bone unless you're in a dangerous situation, or a dangerous line of work, BOTH of which would need to be addressed during pregnancy...just curious!

I think it would be best to see a doctor, just in case. You need to make sure there's nothing that can cause an infection or other problems.
