Linea Nigra

So I was just wondering when (if) you got your linear migration during pregnancy. I know everyone is different but I just thought it'd be nice to relate to others and such. I'm 11 weeks 3 days today and have a linea nigra already! I am a little dark but not a lot just like a light mocha. I noticed it last week from under my belly button to my pubic area and now it's two and a half inches away from my xyphoid process. I just found this crazy as I thought it wasn't supposed to appear until your second trimester. Anyways when did you guys get yours and was it only to your belly button or did it go higher? And did you end up having a boy or girl? Thanks :)

I never got one with my previous two pregnancies, and so far nothing yet for this pregnancy. I'm almost 23 weeks!

I'm having a girl and I'm 38wks and still don't have one.

I haven't noticed any change in my armpit color at least not yet. It makes me wonder if I'm having a boy now. My mom thinks I'm having a girl and my boyfriend wants a girl but now that I'm getting this telltale sign idk. But who knows :)

Im med skin tone...im having a boy n its past belly button..n my belly button looks like its dirty also..look s gross but its just change in color. Has anyones armpits started changing colors..mine look a few shades darker soo gross.

Do you know what your having now? I read an old wives tale that if the line goes up past your belly button it means your having a boy.

I'm fair skin toned and I haven't gotten a line at all, but my belly button is dark, like really dark. It's not dirty or anything either. The nurse said sometimes the pigments will only change in the belly button, and not get a line. I find it weird that it's only in my belly button.

Im 12 wks 4 days and im really just noticing it. Im light skinned. Its under my belly button.

I got mine around 11to weeks also, but only from belly button down..n slowly over the months its gone up to under my chest.the upper part of it is alot lighter than from my belly down though..hope it goes away

Is that because you have light skin? I'm not trying to be mean at all its just that I read people with light skin have a harder time having the linea nigra showing up. Thanks for replying :)

I have one now. I'll be 7 months tomorrow so starting my 3rd trimester. It has probably appeared in the past couple of weeks.
