building crib

Did any one of you mommy put together your own crib. Im 36+4 weeks and my husband says he is going to do it but he works until later and is always tired when he gets home. He only has one day off a week and on the day we are always busy so i don't blame him too much. I would like to know if you ladys think its safe for me to built the crib and the changing table? By the way the crib box and changing table box is already in the soon to be nursery.

I put everything together by myself crib, stroller, changing table, organizer, and playard it was really easy. Did all that in 2 days at 38 weeks.

I built mine with my mother, I have a graco one as well. I did mine on the highest setting.

We put ours at the highest position (I'm short so it worked great for the first few weeks) and than once he rolled over we moved it to the middle setting and than as soon as he could pull himself into a standing position we put it on the very lowest spot.

Thank you mommy's I took the advice and built the crib but i have a question. I bought the grace crib idk if every crib has a 3 level holding position where you put the spring at but mines does and the hand booklet shows the last position but the last one is to low and i am only putting one mattress so should i move it up to the second position or first or leave it in the last position?

I don't see why not lol just be careful and take rest breaks if needed. I remember when my hubby and I put our crib and baby dresser together with our first...good lord it took us all day! Haha good luck mama!
