so i always thought someone was suppose to throw you a baby shower???.....but i see you ladies throw your own?

My sister offered to throw me one this time, and since we have everything big, we wouldn't have had a baby shower if no one offered. Most people don't get all of their big things at their baby shower, usually just little stuff, so if you need the little stuff, like extra diapers, wipes, shampoos and stuff, (you can never have too much of!) throw one for yourself if no one offers.

how far along are you? maybe someone will offer to make you one later on almost by the end. my MIL is making mine and if she wouldnt have offer to make me one than i wouldnt have had one. those help you out alot im waiting to see what i get and then purchasing the rest i need. im having it at 27 weeks but thats because i live in a different state from my family so i dont want to travel when im close to my due date. and so what the girls at work dont have babies they can still buy you something :)

With my first 2 baby showers I threw my own but this time my mil threw it for me she did all the planning an I couldn't know anything until the day of my shower I just invited ppl. I'm the kind of person that will give away things when my kids out grown them

well im not sure i work with a bunch of girls at work....but im the first to have a baby....im starting off with nothing my mom is gona buy the crib and dresser and my aunts r buying stroller ans playpen....but ill need everything else lol!!

You can do it either way.  If someone offers to throw it for you let them. If they don't and you really want to have one throw it for yourself
