can a partial molar pregnancy be linked with partial uterine spetum?

I'm new to this so don't realy know what sort of answers I'm expecting as It's very confusing. About 4 years I was diagnosed with endometriosis and thought I would never be able to conceive but last year I did, it started with complications from the very beginning I was admitted to hospital twice, had several scans (one a week) until I was 3 months pregnant...It was a partial molar pregnancy and the scan showed mised misscarriage, I had it surgically removed that day and was admitted back to hospital 2 days later with a severe uterine infection, scans showed a part of the placenta or something had been left behind but they couldnt do another d n c as apparently it is not effective of removing what they called trophoblastic tumour, I had weekly blood tests and urine tests with specialist hosp for 6 months as the cells from a partial molar can mulitply and grow again, so when I got the all clear 6 months later I was referred back to my main gyneacologist and disscussed with her the constant pain Im in, to be honest I was certain it was endometriosis pain but she was concerned that it was PID from the womb infection after MC so I had scans and went back for results in which I was told I had a partial uterine septum...I mean Ive been under a gyneacologist since I was 17 im now 23 ive had 2 laparoscopies and countless of scans and transvaginal scans why has this never been picked up? so now my question is do you think that maybe its not a uterine septum and its maybe scar tissue or 'tumour' thats there instead? im very confused hope someone can help

I would definitely ask her if it is possible to have an MRI of the uterus before your next procedure.  It will help the doctor as much as you.

Ive been booked in for another lap and the other one where they go through your cervix as it was just a US transvaginal scan yes, she didnt say it could be anythin else but im pretty sure it cant be that as it would have been picked up before but she says not if they wernt looking for it...hmmm! so now im just worried incase its somethin more serious, but yes youre right about the scar tissue with the pain because thats what I thought, thanks for replying, if it is that does removin that release any pain or is it just for mc reasons?..see what they say in may

What kind of scan did you have?  If it was an MRI of the uterus and showed a partial septum, that would be trustworthy.  If it was just ultrasounds, they don't really show septums very well.  Neither does an HSG.  I would go back to your gyneacologist and ask for an MRI, if you have not had one.

If an MRI was what you had, I will say this -- I had a uterine septum and it was never diagnosed by ultrasound.  Only when I had a laparoscopy did the doctor see it ... when I had an HSG they sort of thought I had one, and ultrasounds never picked it up.  Finally an MRI showed the exact shape of it.

If you're having a lot of abdominal pain, I would suspect adhesions and scar tissue, from the previous trama.  It is possible to remove scar tissue from the inside of the uterus via D&C while being guided by ultrasound, so if that is what you have, ask about ultrasound-guided D&C.  But first, get that MRI so you know what is really going on.

Good luck!
