can coughing hurt baby?

Yesterday I woke up with a little cough, stuffed up nose and a tiny bit of a sore throat, well I can't get into my doctors office until Thursday and I can't stop coughing, it's not that it's a lot of coughing, it's just that I need to cough pretty hard to clear my throat and I was just wondering if coughing hard could hurt/effect the baby in any way or if it's ok to use any kind of cough drops while pregnant?? Please help, oh and I'm 35 weeks today....

I was in the sane boat. My doctor said it doesn't harm the the baby & to take tylenol the pink box. Cough drop is okay too to help. I used to the lemon honey one. & coughing so hard does cause you to pee yourself which is so hard to control

I don't get any pains or anything but I'm putting so much force into the cough I didn't know if it could do anything to the baby or not, hopefully some other women have some input on this and know if it's alright to use cough drops or if we can take anything else for coughing until I could get into my doctor...

I don't think so but I'm wondering this too. Sometimes when I cough I get a pain in my lower side.
